I think it's a good product, but depending on the smartphone, the only drawback is that it interferes with the volume button.

Good quality build and can be used even when not attached To clothing.

Well engineered, very handy - awesome!

I am a ski patroller and used the Koala harness for my phone since getting it December 2019. It is simply awesome. Prior to having it, I could not check email while on the ski lifts for fear of dropping my phone. With the Koala, i can securely use my phone while riding up the mountain. It is simply awesome!

The holder blocked the camera on my Iphone7. While I find it useful for carrying it, and knowing where I "left it the last time". It is not useful for snapping a quick photo. I do use it over an Ottobox Defender case, if that is helpful.

The Koala is super secure. I used to get anxious when my husband would take his iPhone out on the ski lift. Now he can take it out and take all the photos he wants. I use mine skiing, walking, running, sightseeing.

I use my KOALA Hangtime almost every day. I use it to attach my phone to cardio equipment (rowing machine, treadmill, stationary bike) that otherwise doesn’t have a practical spot for my phone... enormously practical. Works on phones big and small.

This is generally awesome and achieves the goal of securing the phone. But: the Koala will obscure the camera, and though you can set it up initially so that it doesn't it can slip or be pushed over the camera. So check. Also, I am finding one of the corner (typically by the strap attachment) can be pulled off as a result of repeated in/out of the pocket. Also, honestly, I'd prefer a longer and less "tight" leash to allow for easier selfie taking, lol

Awesome product. Climbed with it a bunch of times, very happy. Still have a tendency to take a close up of my fingers.

I have been happy with this company even before I received my products! They are very customer focused and really care about making you happy! The product works extremely well giving you peace of mind when you venture anywhere where you might have previously damaged or lost your phone. I definitely recommend you try one out for yourself!!!

I have used the Koala a few times now. It has been pretty helpful and handy. The only thing I dislike about it is, the bands come right to where the buttons are on the side, and my phone is constantly telling me I am trying to unlock, or view the screen. I am not really sure how you could change that as all phones are different sized/design but def something to think about. I have used it on both an iPhone X and a Galaxy S9+. The S9+ had a little bit more of an issue over the iPhone. Have not tried it with the new Galaxy yet.

Never dropped my phone entire season with koala

I love the Koala, but wish the cord were a tiny bit longer.

Purchased a KOALA for our trip to NZ, Australia and Japan. Felt safe using it to secure my iPhone 7+ when taking photos from bridges, off cliffs but best was when trying to photograph echidnas while leaning over a wall (using a remote). Took great pics.

I’ve been awaiting a solution for phone security - especially on ski lifts - since the lightening port change. The Koala works. It’s not particularly elegant, but the phone is secure, and the tether and clip allow flexibility for connecting to your kit. What else do you want?

Haven’t used it yet but my wife likes hers, she can let the baby play with her phone without worrying about it being dropped but It does interfere with some of the camera lenses.

since I got my Koala, I use it every time I go for a ride. Because I hadn’t had anything go wrong I was thinking maybe it was overkill... that was until today, I was In a hurry when going for my ride and as usual I put my phone in my bag and clipped my koala to my bag with my phone in it. Part of this ride goes down a black diamond decent, halfway down the hill I noticed my phone had fallen out of my bag and thanks to my koala it saved my phone from falling off the edge of the hill to certain doom... everyone should have one, they are amazing!

Love our KOALA - our whole gang had one (xmas gifts). It kept our phones safe as we skied, snowmobiled, and just plain had fun in the snow. Great product. Cool logo and packaging design too!

My husband thought Koala was “cute” and that “he will probably never use it” Hahahaha! Well cool Koala was attached to him the whole two weeks we were sailing! He loves his Koala and so do I!!

I was so happy receiving my Koala in time for the wintersport season. It has proven to be a great and safe gadget. Fixed on my jacket, it was so easy to take it out of my pocket, snap some pictures and put it back without having to worry if I would accidentally drop it or not.The phone remained well fixed in the Koala harness and I have recommended this great gagdet already to many.

I used the hangtime for my iPhone while quading along the beach. It worked great as I could stop anytime and grab my phone for a picture and then just let it go. I didn’t have to fish it out of my pocket and then try to stuff it back in my pocket. And I was completely comfortable knowing that my phone was secure.
