I bought this for myself but ended up giving it to my son who is a fisherman. It’s perfect for him to have handy and safe from dropping his phone in the water. Many times his hands are wet (and sometimes slimy and slippery) while fishing. This is a great solution for him. He can still capture those cool videos and photos without fumbling around and risking dropping it in the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean. Lol.

I use it while walking my dog and on hikes. It’s very secure which is the whole point.

We are going on a trip where we will be taking a lot of photos. We will be in a gondola and on a zip line. We will be on a sail boat and even in a small plane looking at whales! A trip of a lifetime for us and I need to be sure to not lose my phone. The Koala seemed like a great concept but I only bought one. As soon as I got it and gave it a try- I was hooked and bought another! So glad I can be confident about moving around and not having to be so worried about my phone because of the extra security my Koala gives me! Thank you for a great product :)

This is a terrific solution for me to secure my iPhone and keep it handy on the stream while fly fishing. It beats all other tethering and waterproof bagging that I have used in the past.

I used my Koala for the first time recently on a trip to Colorado. It was nice to be able to hang my phone over the railing of deep canyons for the perfect picture and not be afraid it would end at the bottom.

Super helpful for having phone secure and convenient. Attached to camel pack and was already ready for photos when hiking and biking. Easy to put phone in and remove. Very secure

Ordered one of these after seeing ads for it on Instagram. I do quite a bit of hiking and I love taking pics along the way, but I was tired of my phone weighing down my pockets/hanging out past my shorts line or having to stop and dig into a pocket of my backpack. This really keeps your phone in the perfect, reachable spot for all your photo needs! I clip it on to the upper strap of my bag right around my shoulder and then loop it once around the strap so it’s not dangling to far down. I bought the black one and it came just the day before I did a 17 mile weekend hike in Mammoth Lakes. I actually pulled up to my campsite and parked right next to this truck. When I got out I noticed the back cab of the truck had a KOALA advertisement alongside it! Turns out it was the CEO of the brand! I chatted that night with him about climbing. Really cool guy! Such a small world and a really cool story to be able to add to this review!

Great for kayaking

WOW, this thing really grips my phone and stays on. Love that I can take it hiking etc. and not have to worry about my phone getting lost.

Love our Koala’s in orange and camo. One deficiency is the tiny strap covers the transfer button when playing Pokémon Go. A small price to pay for not dropping my phone.

I absolutely love the clip on the harness. I clip it to my shirt and the phone can go from travel pants to using and back again. It offers lots of options

The koala really grips & I can attach it to different places depending on what I’m doing. Exercise or yard work or kayaking - safe & secure!

The Koala is super grippy. I wish the tether was a little longer and the clasp (grab a piece of shirt) a little grippier. I have a Samsung Galaxy S21, so the Koala strap rides over the increase volume button.

I’ve had no issues with it and gets the job done. Great product so far!

I learned the hard way that hiking with a phone comes with a risk of becoming lost or damaged, even though I was careful. And I found that it wraps around the Otterbox case very nicely so the two are complimentary on hikes. However, when I was with friends at an outdoor rooftop restaurant, there were lots of tourists and locals taking sunset photos near the railing and it occurred to me that it would be prudent to have the Koala for everyday use too. One slip and the phone would be over the edge and gone. So, I will include use it more for routine out and about errands.
