I bought the Koala for my husband, he is always filming us while we snowboard, and he has the ability to ride and take video with his phone, I thought it was the perfect gift, and it was!! I bought one for myself and our son!!

I’ve ordered KOALA products in the past. Just took the newest version out skiing and this latest edition is inferior to the previous ones. Fit not firmly grip the phone and partially obstructed camera.

My koala is my leash for my phone at work. I work in the medical field and lord knows I don’t want it falling out of my pocket for any reason, mostly germs and yuk! I have been saved more than once by my koala. It fits perfectly, works like it should and easy to clean. Two thumbs up for this second version.

This harness fits my iPhone 12 pro perfectly. I enjoy taking pics of my friends and I while on the chairlift, and am always afraid of dropping my phone into the snow (I lost a glove that way). Thanks to this harness, I'm not longer worried. It's like additional insurance for my phone haha. I think this will come in handy when I go backpacking in the summer as well.

It works for skiing

I use my Koala mainly when I ski. But have kept it attached while running errands and it’s great. I also use it for my walkie talkies- they fit perfect.

It’s fast and easy to attach to your phone. Takes the fear away of dropping it off a chairlift or losing it off a jump when you forget to close the zipper on your jacket �‍♂️. Thanks for making a cool product! �

I love this— But I have an iPhone 14 pro Max and I think it barely holds it. The rest of my family has smaller phones and the koala is awesome for them.

For the most part, I use this for skiing, though I suspect I'll use it for flat water kayaking and fishing as well. By the way, I have an iPhone 12 Mini with an Apple clear case with magsafe case and the Koala fits perfectly.

I spend a lot of time riding ski lifts giving me great photo ops. I can safely use my phone to capture these opportunities since getting my KOALA phone leash. KOALA holds my phone securely and is clipped to my ski jacket. Now if they will just make a leash for my poles!

As an older, clumsy, traveler I replaced my broken camera with a single good cell phone so I only have to juggle one device on trips, but I missed my camera case with its neck strap. I am hoping that the KOALA will fit the bill for taking good care of my new cellphone in Scotland, Alaska, and England this year. So far it is off to a good start!

I've known that it would be a wise idea for me to get a tether for my phone, since I'm often taking it in and out of my pocket while in the mountains, to either capture adventurous moments and picturesque scenery or to use it for maps/route guidance. The thought had been on the back burner for a while, and I finally decided to pull the trigger on purchasing a KOALA. Before getting my KOALA, I would sometimes hesitate to take my phone out, due to weather conditions or surroundings (what is or isn't below me). As long as I'm in a safe spot to do so, I have no hesitation doing it now. Many of my adventures also take place in the winter, so it's not always a smooth process to retrieve my phone and put it back, but I have zero worries about dropping it since using my KOALA. If a trip doesn't go as planned (aka sh*t hits the fan), I have everything I need with me to survive a night in the mountains. Included in that equipment is my phone (backups for maps/navigation/coordinates, communication/emergency notification, medical info and emergency contacts for rescue personnel, etc). It's extremely reassuring for me and my family to know that this piece of equipment is now very unlikely to be separated from me or lost whilst in the mountains, which I think is the most important factor of using my KOALA.

ease of use; security

No more white knuckle death grip texting from the chairlift, praying that your freezing fingers don't fumble you phone to a certain snowy demise. Works as advertised, fits over a case, feels very secure. Only critique is that the straps can overlap the camera lens or make it harder to use the on/off and volume buttons. Still way better than losing your phone.
