As an event planner & theatre producer I have frequently set my phone down and wished that I hadn’t. Now I can keep is close. The design and materials are very good. Sturdily made.

I do have one problem with the Koala. I have an LG K330. The Koala blocks my flash and if I am not paying close attention it also blocks my lens (center location). Fortunately, at most events I am not the one taking photos so the inconvenience is minor.
