It’s one of those products that you wish you had thought of. The first day I used it, I was about 20 turns down the mountain and I felt a tug the chest of my jacket, then a bump on my knee. I’ve never forgotten to close my phone pocket on my ski jacket, but that first day with the Koala, I did. My phone was bouncing around, but hanging in there. I stashed it back in my pocket, zipped up, and continued on. At minimum, it saved me a lot of time looking for my phone. More likely, it saved me a new phone.

It’s simple but well constructed. You’ll want to find a seam to clip onto as it provides a little extra grip for the clamp, which is very strong anyway. In my ski jackets there’s usually a headphone hole in a chest pocket and the clamp holds tight to the sewn seam on those (vs flat inside pocket material). Looking forward to using it while fishing and biking now that the snow is melting.
