I especially love the sense of security it gives me while taking photos on the lift.

Now that I’m using this I can’t imagine not having it. Got as gifts for my whole skiing family.

I use an iPhone, and I use the KOALA harness while skiing. It gives me a certain level of comfort that I won't drop the phone if I were to get it out while one the chairlift, or if I were to get it out to take a picture while in a powder area, that I won't drop it in deep snow.

I gave my son this is a Christmas Gift and he loves it. Uses it when skiing and has expressed several times that it 'saved his phone' while on the chairlift.

Used it on 3 ski trips this season. Flawlessly operated.

It’s a great concept but the rubber comes off of my phone frequently so I don’t feel entirely safe with it. Still needs some tweaks!

Does exactly what you need it to do. I use it snowboarding & on my kayak.

The thing is perfect. I love to ski with music. It lets me pull my phone from my pocket and queue up songs for my next run. I can do that without being terrified of dropping my phone off the lift

Only reason this gets 4* and not 5* is that the Koala covers key areas of the screen on my Galaxy s21±. This makes some phone use difficult. The better Koala would just be a phone case with the same tether/strap, though this would need to be phone-model specific. It wouldn't be as universal.

Used this for when I bring my phone out on a chair lift. No more fear of dropping it. I have the iPhone 12 Pro Max and all camera lenses are unobstructed. Only downside is it doesn’t cover the upper right corners of your screen on iPhone and makes it hard to go back. Definitely not a deal breaker. Great product

So very tempting to take out that phone on the chair lift… But we saw more than one skier searching for a lost phone in the snow below. The Koala was the solution: chair lift selfies and email check without danger!

Used it Jan 27/28 2022 at Keystone, CO for a two day snowboard trip. Worked great as described and added that extra layer of security for me when I was on the lifts knowing the phone wouldn't slip outta my hands and into the snow below. Worth the money I spent easily.

I bought my Koala for a ski trip. My husband was glad I finally had a layer of security when snapping photos from the lift. It worked great! I had to use an upper pocket bc the leash isn’t very long and unclip it for selfies for the same reason. Easy enough. You have to be careful bc the side straps do slip sometimes (esp if you push them to make sure the camera isn’t covered) so it’s not failsafe but definitely better than any other brand I found. Straps are thick and sturdy. All in all, happy with this purchase.

Just came back from Alps ski trip using my Koala on my phone and it was awesome! No stress using phone while skiing.

The koala fits my iPhone 12 perfectly. I no longer fear that I’ll drop it or lose it when I’m snow skiing. Friends of mine saw me skiing with it yesterday and had to know what it was and where they could get it.

I ordered four of these for our family ski trip to steamboat springs Colorado… We all love them! Such an incredible asset!

by far one of the best designed and executed phone holder for active lifestyles. I use mine on chairlift and have NO worries whatsoever.

This is such a great addition to my ski setup, and I no longer worry about dropping my phone off the chair lift! I clipped mine to a retractable line for more reach. Very secure and like the two options of either a clip or a mini carabiner.

I always answer emails on the chairlift and after dropping my prior phone in a lake and having to spend megabucks for a new one I am paranoid about losing it in unskiable terrain from a chairlift. This works great.

Wore mine skiing for the first time. I really like the design and ease of use. The clasp is strong enough to hold the lanyard on any available piece fabric, zipper housing, etc. Awesome to be able to grab and go, shoot photos then drop it back into my jacket. However... I do have one suggestion; make a version that has a lanyard 10 inches longer, with a 2cm hole cut in the middle of the lanyard. This way, the KOALA could be wrapped around the back of the neck with the clasp attaching at the hole. To use it as designed with the shorter length, simply loop the lanyard through the hole.

Works well skiing but the bottom loops slip off. I have an iPhone in a case. If I remove the case, it will probably be better but I prefer to keep the OtterBox case on.
