Secure and much stronger that the other brands. Holds the phone without slipping off.

I ordered the first version JUST before the second one came out but I wanted it for an upcoming climbing trip. It works well for me! I have the iPhone XR with one of those giant Otterbox defender cases. It fits super snug and I make sure to re-adjust the corners individually. I don’t keep it in tight pockets so I haven’t expereinced issues with it slipping off as other reviews have mentioned. I bought a light weight zipper pouch to keep the phone in/attach to my harness as I’m climbing and keep the Koala clipped to the pouch as well. Excited to try the 2.0 with the carabiner!

I use my KOALA hanger all day every day. I work outdoors and have a lot of opportunities for my phone to fall. This piece of equipment is now an essential part of my daily routine. It has saved my phone too many times to count. Unfortunately one of the four corners has finally broken, after 1 full year of constant use.

I was in Paris and a guy tried to take my cell phone out of my hand but it was clipped to me. He dropped it when he saw the cord and it didn't fall and break . He ran off . Thanks Koala

This is a great product, but the design doesn’t work with my phone. Unfortunately the koala blocks the camera lenses on my galaxy, which has 3 lenses, so my photos come out with a big orange blob along the side. Very disappointed.

This was reviewed in Country Walking Magazine which prompted me to order one for myself. I help to run an Instagram account for a local sports club, so need to carry my phone with me when out and about for photo opportunities. I was impressed by the quality of the silicone bumper and the spring and fastener. It is far more robust than similar items available on a well known shopping website. My phone is in the harness all the time and has attracted interest from others who have noticed it and asked what it is. I am delighted with my purchase.

My Koala keeps me out of trouble in my outdoor activities like fishing or hiking. Especially when using my iPhone camera, my fumbling fat fingers are no problem anymore.

A great piece of kit. Super strong and gives me confidence to get my phone out anywhere- viewing maps, climbing routes or on my bike. Cable stretches to full arms length and never lets go of whatever it’s clipped too. Love it!

Love this. Bought it for skiing so I wouldn't drop my phone off the lift and I loved it! Just attached the tether to my jacket and kept my phone in my pocket.

I was worried about dropping my phone off the chairlift, so purchased this harness. I have limited pocket space in my parka, but am happy to give some of that space to the harness. A great product!

This works well. Did not drop my phone once. I took it hiking in Mexico before COVID-19 shut down travel.

Fits both my old phone (iPhone 7) and new phone (IPhone 11) really well, clip is secure and means I don’t have to worry about dropping it when out hiking. I preordered 2 of these before they were released, definitely don’t regret it and now have others asking where I got them.

I saw a social media post for a Kickstarter for the Koala, I backed it and ordered 6 for my family. Our family has used it throughtout the winter, skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling without issue. It easily fits all phones we have. The straps do not interfere with camera lenses nor the various buttons. I always feel secure using my phone at all times, I can't wait to use it in the warmer weather, cycling, hiking, paddling. I highly recommend getting a Koala for all of your outdoor pursuits.

I’ve used this on ski days, and it’s awesome! No worries about losing my phone or dropping it from the chairlift.

I bought one of these for each family member for an active trip to the Dominican Republic. From zip-lining to ATV excursions to bike riding to boating, they kept all our phones secure and handy. Definitely recommend!

By far, the top reason I bought this was so I wouldn't feel paranoid about taking out my phone while on the chairlift, and the Koala works perfectly for peace-of-mind for that. It holds my phone very securely, and the clips holds onto a fold inside my coat pocket well enough that I trust it. And, if it gets in the way for any function on the phone, it's super easy to take off and put back on. I highly recommend this product.

I had all my climbing trips cancelled because of Coronavirus but i did hook this thing on to my phone and whip it around my head at home. I spend a good deal of time looking at the sticker i got with the device and wondering why this KOALA product has a Sloth as a logo.

This is a great gadget to let you safely text/call while riding a chairlift (back when we could ski) and not risk dropping your phone.

It was helpful and safe to have KOALA holding my phone on the last boat ride I had. I bought 10 KOALAS as Christmas gifts for my friends who like to do outdoor activities and for others who like to go fishing. They all loved my gift. I recommend KOALA,100%Thank you...

I’ve spent most of my career as climbing rigger, so I understand the importance of tethers or leashes. I think your product is great and fits over the case. The issue I have is zippered pockets. My snowboard pockets close down and coils get in the way. My suggestion would be a thin 2-3” straight section of cable before the coil. It would allow a little extra length for a zipper that closes down, or opposite of the the clip.
