Found this company a few years ago after searching for a better option to those clear pouches you put you phone in when boating. I manage a boat club, and have bought DOZENS of these over the past couple years, not because they have broken, but because every staff member, and even customer that sees one, needs to have it. I don’t step foot on the dock without strapping my phone in, and I feel insecure without it. I really enjoyed the original koala with its coiled cord, sometimes it got kinked, but i liked how short the cord was, and it looked more professional. I was a little concerned that the 2.0 would be too long and may fall too low, but i’ve been impressed with it’s quality, its no more cumbersome that the original when its in your pocket, but does take up more space when you have it out on the table, or hanging on the wall. I will say, the one issue we have been having is the rubber „eye” section that connects to the ring is more prone to tears than the 1.0. Keep in mind, ours get used 60-80hrs per week in full sun, so it’s to be expected, and I honestly don’t mind spending the $30 twice a season to protect a $900 phone. The koala has been an absolute lifesaver, it fits on almost every phone, and the camera still works! I have two wishes, 1. I wish there was a brighter color way, or seasonal color drops. the colors seem a bit muted for an adventure brand, i like them, but would love to see a green, brighter blue, vibrant red. 2. i wish they had one for tablets, maybe not one that connects to your waistband, but some sort of holder that is tablet sized, could use the carabiner maybe?
