I like the idea of the Koala, but found that the phone case that you use can have a big effect on how good the connection between the lanyard and the phone is. With my basic clear case, it easily slipped out the Koala in almost any pocket. To help this issue, a purchased a cheap case from a local big-box store (an iHome case) that has a large soft pad on the back of the case. With this one, I can spin the Koala with the phone attached like a propeller and it doesn’t come out. Otherwise, the quality of the Koala is top notch (amazing really and worth every penny), but yes, inserting in pockets can loosen one or more of the „ears” depending on the case.
